Mom Carla ~
Well, it's so very Monday. Gia has managed to avoid going to the vet because he's doing much better and not limping. He still has 5 days of antibiotics though.
I'm pretty sure Giselle is pregnant. She goes in tomorrow for spay and I already told them I don't want details. This is horrible for me but she's only a baby herself.
I just found a huge lump under Jean-Marc's jaw. I'm taking him in tomorrow. There's a chance that it's just a cyst because it moves around but the size is concerning. I HAVE to get it looked at.
Markus is feeling pain from the shots 2 days in a row now. His blood work is next Thursday. That's over a week and I hope it's not going to be everyday like this morning was. He howled, I cried. We were doing good and now the anxiety returns. I'm not totally sure he has ringworm either. It glowed under black light but only the pores. This looks like a patch of thickened skin more than ringworm. Sores and patches like that are common during treatment, a side affect of the medication. Other than that he's doing great and weighs 4lbs 1oz!
On a better note I am finally getting adoptable kitties on Petfinder! Hopefully this will help getting some (all) forever homes! Not one single inquiry for any that I have posted before. The rescue page just doesn't have enough likes to have any reach.
Please continue to help as you can. The rescue is bleeding out funds now. I was going to buy more food until the situation with Giselle came to my notice. I can hardly feed my own cats much less all the rescues. So anything from the Amazon or Chewy lists would help. Direct donations to the vet. PayPal or Zelle to info@tuxieslegacy.org. Shares. I'm so sorry to continually ask but I have to. I chose to rescue them, they didn't ask for me.
Oh, one last thing.... Any more sarcastic, snarky comments on any sensitive subjects will get that person blocked. I am nothing but respectful when I post and I don't ask the world to agree with everything I do but if you can't reciprocate then you won't be here.
This year has been beyond hard. I thought Tuxie's loss was the worst thing I could know. I was so wrong. I also know it could be worse and I really do pray everyday for things to get better.
So help if you can (shares cost nothing) and don't forget to check out the website; tuxieslegacy.com and subscribe to our YouTube channel where there will be videos you won't see here!
Thanks for sticking with us through the good times and the bad, thick and thin. We are nothing without friends.
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
