27/05/2023 Update

I got Victor home last night and he was happy.

He's completely cleared and all his levels are back to normal. We got his uber expensive food and I will try to get him to eat some of the wet food. He's a dry food junkie. He has Gabapentin for pain as well.

The bill was insane but because of your generosity it was paid in full! Thank you so incredibly much for helping him!

Mickey's labs are Tuesday. This HAS to be it! She will be on day 141 and that f*@#="g virus has to be dead! This last extension was a precaution so PLEASE let her be approved for observation!

Sugar gets her 8 week labs Friday. She doing great and is back up to 10lbs! IF all goes right she should go into observation June 30th. I'm not holding my breath though. Being FIV+ she might get an extension. But if not her projected "cure" date would be September 22nd. That's a week shy of Markus's 1 year diagnosis. 51 weeks of treating FIP. I am tired!

It was hard yesterday. I kept thinking I had to feed the baby. He fought so hard. His will to live was amazing! His poor little body just couldn't keep up with his spirit. I knew when I took him on that he probably wouldn't make it but I had to try. I would do it again and I probably will.

My vet was, and always is, so supportive when other vets would have said to let him go.

If love could have saved him....
