26/05/2023 Additional Update

New week, let's hope it's a good one!

Mickey is a little bit snotty so she's going on Veraflox. Her labs are next week so I don't want to chance any infections messing with the results. I hope this doesn't throw them off.

Markus has 19 days left until his final (I hope!) labs! He starts a new antibiotic today to try and clear out this URI/bacteria/whatever the hell is making him sneeze thing. Again, I hope it doesn't throw off his labs. He's doing so great! He's pushing almost 9lbs and thinks he's in charge of everyone so, all paws crossed, that St Gertrude's Day/St. Patrick's Day will be his "cured" day!

Gia continues to mouth breathe when he runs. He can be out of the room with supervision but I'm afraid he's never going to be the same again. I started the oxygen therapy today. He was freaked out but settled down and took 30 minutes in my lap, giving me stink eye the entire time.

Patrick started Veraflox, too. His poor little nose. The older he gets the more the cleft is apparent and his nasal passages are affected. But he's still a happy boy and plays hard like nothing is wrong!

Jolene is still good! Haven't seen her limp in days! Some good news!

Davina is a sweet little girl and doing great! The nasty gunk is falling off and new skin shows. She let's me hold her and give the eye meds (way better than Vlad!) and is starting to heal. Thanks, Auntie Dee, for the bunny treats! She loves them!

I should be an official vet tech by now.

So I'm trying to get restocked on food again. I'm also trying to save funds for labs and Davina's recheck. I REALLY hate asking all the time but that's part of every rescues delimma.

I calculated what it would cost to feed wet food twice a day... Ugh! Looked for alternative food but I will not compromise quality. I have too many with health concerns. I had a few messages wanting to know why I can't just feed Friskies like they do so I sent them a copy of Max's PU surgery.
