After this I will give the page back to Gia to handle unless there's a major emergency.
I learned a lot this weekend. I also warned everyone what would happen if they were disrespectful. Some people don't read clearly and they think they have all the answers even though they aren't in the situation.
The entire weekend with Patch contained more information than I had time to explain. It would take over an hour to put into black and white. Emotions run high when an animal is suffering and then some people had to poke an angry rattlesnake (me); it didn't go over so well for them. Comments deleted and people banned. Especially a know-it-all vet who never has anything positive to say.
In a nutshell, an owner was given bad advice from his vet and an angry, racist man didn't trust us to do anything. There's background to both sides. I won't even go into the man's experience that made him feel the way he does but I can semi-understand.
This page isn't about the politics of the world but I will hope that those of us involved ALL learned something yesterday. It was about doing the right thing to save an innocent life that doesn't know politics or social issues.
I reiterate my previous warning for the last time. I'M the one here doing this. If you choose to be snarky, try to drop an F bomb on my page, or act like I didn't do 150% to save a cat.... Bye.
Now please enjoy Gia with his Taco, an amusing warning from FB about my post yesterday, and Ice Cube with words of wisdom.
PS: I have raised enough for matching funds to vet Joey and Johnny! Thank you so much for caring about all the kitties!
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
