Sitting here, still in pain waiting...
Waiting to hear results of blood work on Andre. Waiting for my paranoia to be confirmed or denied.
In my stupor of agony for so many days I really thought for the past few that he was just hanging around me on the couch because he knew I hurt. But this morning I realized he's stopped eating. His temp is 104.4. His walk is off. So I dropped him off at the vet to see what's going on.
I have been wrong before. I hope I am again.
I'm so done. No sooner does the rescue get ahead and then something else happens. I take in the hard cases and my reward is seeing them thrive but at the expense of extra funds. We never really get ahead.
Please help. I really need to raise $200 for his bill. Blood work is around $180 plus he'll be getting meds no matter what the results are.
