I tried to post earlier and lost the entire thing! Ugh!
Well, Markus is NOT in relapse for sure! He was positive for calicivirus! It doesn't mean he has an active infection but the nasal thing is a secondary infection that threw off his labs slightly.
Gia IS doing better today! Most likely doing Flovent twice a day is helping get the asthma under control. I'm holding off on using the oxygen concentrator for now. I want to see how he is tomorrow as well as get more information on how to use the concentrator. You CAN get too much oxygen so I don't want to make him worse by using it the wrong way.
Mickey had a great shot today! She really hates oral meds though. But she is doing better every day and I can see her filling out. She's a small cat anyway but she needs to gain at least another pound to be the size of her sister.
Liz and Puff are back to themselves and doing good after their surgeries. Puff slept with me under the covers last night! I am forgiven.
Please continue to donate as you can. Mickey will need labs in 2 weeks, litter, and noms are always needed. I so appreciate how far we've been able to get through this storm of used cat litter but supplies get low, vet needs pop up, and yesterday cost more than I had originally planned on. Anything helps and I am always thankful for what you do for these babies.
Please share!
Thank you for everything you've already done!
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
