Big week! Tomorrow is Mickey's big day!
This SHOULD be her final labs and, all paws crossed, that she will be cured! Please send all good thoughts for her to get her miracle!
The 3 Gen Z kittens and Riley also get shots and SNAP tests. Sugar gets her 8 week observation labs on Friday. Tomorrow is going to be $800ish! ANY help on this is greatly appreciated!
Ray is doing great and next week, on Wednesday, we'll see if he can go into observation. Between him and Sugar is another $360ish.
Goose has calmed down. He wasn't very social at first but has warmed up and loves his head scritches! I'm giving him a couple more days in the kennel and then see how things go in gen pop.
A new boy (?) showed up today outside. He looks healthy enough but was hungry. My neighbor pointed out that the people next to her are throwing out part of a cat box... I'm going to ask them today if the cat is theirs. If he is I can promise that the guy will lose his job because he works for the city shelter! I WILL totally report him! But let me not jump to conclusions until I know more.

We MIGHT get rain today and tomorrow! It was 105 yesterday. This has to end. A tropical depression is forming; don't panic. It's no worse than a regular Texas storm.
I'm sorry that I ask so much. I'm sorry that this isn't a cute, fun page like it used to be. But I am not sorry for the reasons behind it all. I will never be sorry for trying to save the cats discarded by heartlessness, ignored by society, forgotten by the world. Thank you all who have stuck with me through thick and thin.
