Tuxie's Legacy Cat Hospital and Care update!
That's what it feels like. Gia is doing about the same but he's feeling perky and wants out of my room. Not quite ready for that just yet. A bit of mouth breathing each day but it quickly ends and it's not severe.
I notice that he breathes harder but his respiration hasn't gone above 44. For those who haven't seen his retractive breathing, it's pretty disturbing if you're not used to it. When he's resting it's not as hard and respiration stays around 28.
Late last night I was able to order the oxygen concentrator! Thank you SO MUCH for helping me get this for him! Both Dr Floyd and I feel that oxygen therapy will help keep the lung as healthy as possible. Again, there is no treatment for his CLD but it will help his lung overall maintain the health it has.
Mickey continues to be an absolute angel with shots. This morning she cried out and squirmed a little but she recovered fast and purred in my arms. She really hates her oral meds though. Very dramatic drooling after Petinic but only a few days more and then she just has to finish her prednisolone.
Markus is a totally happy boy! He's doing so well and tomorrow is lab day. I can't help but feel a little nervous. I hope the results show the same as how he acts!
I'm watching everyone else and hoping that all sicknesses are over! Patrick still sneezes but that's from his cleft nose. Noodles still has some eye tearing but his nose is clear and he's not coughing or sneezing. Ambrose has one runny eye but is the same as Noodles. Paws crossed!
None of these cats would have survived without your amazing help! They live because you care. Thank you is never enough!
Time to clean. Yea for me.
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
