Today is too painful but she must be honored. It's been a year....
Jessikat survived horrific injuries and eye damage at 3 weeks old. If she had any discomfort or pain she never showed it. She was full of life and love. She romped and played as if nothing happened to her. She was fearless, brave; the epitome of a Goblin Warrior Princess.
We had 6 weeks together and she was my constant companion. My little neck muffin, her favorite place to sit. She had healed completely from her surgeries. Then in an instant she was gone.
Today, honor her in some way. Donate food or funds to a shelter for special needs cats or to your favorite charity. Light a candle. Send up a prayer to the Bridge for her to watch over us all.
My world was shattered again in a moment and I'm still trying to piece it back together. She was the most incredible kitten I've ever known. Jessikat, you are never forgotten. You will always be my soul kitten.
May we meet again.
