I hesitate to post this but I really have to.
A single baby was found abandoned. He is maybe 6-7 days old. He's pretty sick which is probably why mom abandoned him.
The man who found him is the same man that I got Jessikat and the other 3 from. This, on Markus's birthday. It is most definitely a sign but, of what, I can't say. A lesson in what will be will be.
His eyes are still closed but they are infected. His nose was so crusted over he had to mouth breath. I took him to the vet to get formula and they cleaned off his face. He isn't nursing. I steamed him in the bathroom. He is sleeping and dreaming right now. My vet will let me know if there's any kind of antibiotics I can try. In kittens this young there may be nothing.
There is no amount of money that can save him at this age so I only ask that you pray, send good thoughts, burn a candle with healing intentions. If he came to me just to have a safe place to make his journey then so be it. I will try everything I can to save him though. His name is Hendrix.
If all I can do is give a name, love, and comfort I have to accept that but I won't give up until I have to.
