15/07/2024 Gia Medical Update

OK, it's late.

He's stable. Respiration was at 64rr when I got him home from the vet at 4. They said he hadn't eaten his food and that his respiration had been a little more elevated. We all figured he would calm done at home.

I'm going back up at 6am. He's in the same situation as last year. It's all basically the same as last year, he had a massive asthma attack. He's in an oxygen chamber, had a sedative, all the tests. His respiration was at 50 during testing. He is resting.

I still need to raise $616. I paid $2000. Then, because he's staying overnight, they wanted another $1616. I gave them $1000.

The rescue funds are completely gone over this. Everyone has been so generous, thank you, to get us this far so I'm begging with all my heart to help give Gia another chance.

But whether the money is raised or not....I'm really done. I can't buy food or litter or Vader's meds or get labs....and what about the next medical emergency?

The rescue can't go on like this. I'm going to have to get homes for the ones who should have been adopted long ago. Nobody wanted them as kittens and I have to laugh at the possibility of them being adopted as adults.

I'm sorry that I'm so full of negativity. No power for 6 days, no work either, sciatica twinges, and now this....these cats are my world but the rescue is in ruin.

Please help if you can. Thank you to everyone that donated. I have a lot to figure out now.

I'll update later.
