Vet days are always crazy.
Vader, Luke, and Riley are big kittens now with their second boosters and rabies shots! Everyone did well and Dr Floyd groped Riley extra because she had that fever a few days ago. We're watching her closely.
Now the pool kittens were supposed to go next week but Dr Floyd is booked so they will go in 2 weeks when Mickey gets her labs. Gives me time to raise funds.
Sugar was supposed to go on June 30th but, again, Dr Floyd is booked so she will go on July 5th when Ray gets his first treatment labs. A few more days on meds, even if she doesn't need them, won't hurt her.
All the medical expenses are why I have to ask so much. I also haven't had SNAP tests done for any of the kittens. I still need Revolution. If I was to ask flat out for what is really needed it would be about $5,000! I was asked how much a day it costs to run the rescue.... $100 for just food, litter, and FIP supplements.
But I'm still hoping 100 people will donate $5.
I continue to thank you for the donations received and the noms that show up at the door! I continue to beg daily to get through. In spite of everything thrown at me I am determined to make this work! I am committed to the lives in my care and I will crawl through fire to get what they need.
