Goose got his visit.
Today was simple: he has stomatitis. His throat and gums are infected and he did the gagging/choking thing for Dr Floyd so she saw for herself. He got antibiotic and steroid shots.
We'll see how he does and if it doesn't help or comes back he'll need an extraction surgery. 😿 FIV+ cats are susceptible to gum and teeth issues so this isn't a surprise. Poor guy wants to eat but it hurts. Extra mushy food for him mixed with some Nutrical.
Paws crossed this helps but we are, inevitably, looking at a full mouth extraction.
Now I'm back to bed. Boogie (petri dish boy) has infected me with his plague and I feel like used litter. I also have an infected gum that I believe is sympathy for Goose. Makes sense. Just go with it.
