I took Mickey for her "spa" treatment today!
She also got an exam because there's one lump that got bigger and Dr Parks wanted to make sure it wasn't going to ulcer. Little Miss Warrior is 8.5lbs! Now her dose is 2ml. I might have to buy more meds before this is over.
I went ahead and scheduled her for another "spa" on Friday when I take Markus. It helps her skin soften and heals the lumps. Treating FIP is way more than just giving shots.
I'm getting nervous about Friday. Markus is being amazing as always and doing so good! I should trust what I see but only labs show the whole truth. Just praying so hard to see the word "cured" in 3 days. It's a long, lonely journey of anxiety, stress, and emotions.
The journey isn't over by far. Mickey has 20 days left of treatment (paws crossed) then 84 days of observation. Never, ever did I think I would be doing this but I am so thankful that there is a treatment that can save them both.
And I'm thankful for the generosity of strangers that made it possible to get the medicine.
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
