Gia is not coming home tonight.
When he gets off oxygen his respiration goes up. They will keep him in the tent and try again in the morning. He will come home tomorrow and possibly do better being back in his familiar surroundings. Anxiety could be playing a big part of the raised respiration.
Radiology confirmed asthma but also suspected mucus plugging in the lower brachia; chronic lung disease. There is no treatment.
For those speculating about an infection and where it came from: he does NOT have any infection so maybe read my posts better.
Should he come home and go downhill anyway....there's really no decision. I say all this for everyone to be ready but I am devasted. He's only 3 and no one knew what his life expectancy would be. This is a hard reality. Painful.
Thank you for helping.
Thank you for loving Gia.
There's nothing more to do except wait and see but certain things are inevitable and not a choice.
I can't sugar coat the situation.
Be pawsome! Do pawsome! This is the way.
