As the summer ends the heat continues here. Not as bad but still ridiculously hot. My job ended Monday so I'm looking for a regular job.
Every day I pray for a miracle for the rescue. A handful of people keep it going. I hope you know who you are and I thank you for your generous support! I can't stress enough that any donation in any amount is important!
At this point I can't go forward with anything until funds are raised. I think about ending the rescue but where would these cats go? There's no room in other rescues and shelters are full, too. "Owner surrender" equals euthanasia!
The bottom line is that rescues run on donations. Food and litter is mandatory. Vetting is necessary. And while I constantly ask for help I'm turning away cats in need. It wears my soul down to the core but I'm only 1 person here.
I HAVE to get the kittens fixed and last shots because I trust no one to adopt and take care of that. Getting them adopted will help ease up on funds but they have to be fully vetted.
I'm doing the raffle to raise funds. I'm asking almost daily. Things have to get better donation wise. They have to or the cats don't get what they need. Reality blows chunks, right?
So please help however you can. I swear, ANYTHING helps!
