Today is the raffle drawing!

So everyone on medication is improving. I even see an improvement today with Vlad's eye! Jolene hasn't limped in a couple of days! Patrick isn't blowing chunks of snot! Mickey's congestion is cleared and Markus has stopped sneezing, too! KNOCK ON WOOD because I said all that!

The page posts are hardly being seen anymore. IDK if it the stupid algorithms or if we're just not interesting enough anymore. It's hard to tell with Facebutt. Don't get me started about Meta. I will NOT feed the corporate greed by purchasing "boosts"! Can I get some shares of the page?

See, the rescue struggles. That's why I did the raffle. I know how much I ask, almost daily, and it bothers me but I have to. And so many of the same people always donate! I appreciate those regular donors so much as well as the ones that send what they can when they can.

Every other day I think about posting that I'm done, that I will close down the rescue. But I don't have that option with so many depending on me. Please understand that I have to continuously raise funds for everyday needs and not just for medical emergencies.

Some of the things the rescue uses are not fun or glamorous: paper towels, laundry detergent, pee pads, garbage bags. All the extras are necessary and add to cost of daily supplies. Your donations go to more than just food, litter, and vet.

It's a blessing to have been able to continue on no matter how I feel sometimes. I just hope people understand a little more about why I constantly ask for donations.
