I spoke extensively yesterday with a lady about Negan.
She's the one I contacted and she has multiple paraplegic cats. We discussed care, expectations, and long term issues.
As I said yesterday I want only the best for him. According to her, I'm AM doing exactly that.
I had several people contact me saying they would take him. I'm sorry if it was ever implied that he was available for adoption but that was never the case. Negan is home here. I would have let him go to a sanctuary if I wasn't giving him the best but I am.
I'm more confident now. His care will be expensive compared to a cat with no issues but more so in supplies than medical. It's like having a newborn baby without the crying.
I do thank the ones who wanted him! I was unsure that I was providing the best but I am. And he has the best vet who knows him.
Negan is home.
