03/11/2022 Update

Soooo....

Most likely Patrick's sinus cavity is deformed. He doesn't have a fever. He doesn't act any different. He eats well. Dr Floyd is holding off on antibiotics for now. His runny eye could be from the sinus or possibly scarring of the tear duct. We're going to use the eye goo and see if it helps.

I brought Possum in because I found a lump on his right thigh. Dr Floyd did aspiration and it showed white cells and bacteria; possible abscess in the making. This is probably where his vaccines were given 2 weeks ago. He was the kitten that had the abscess on his wrist when he was a week old. He's going on antibiotics.

This is why we constantly need help.

See, I kind of have to say this, not just for my rescue, but for ALL rescues. For everyone doing it without a tax status. This sucks! We all hate asking but, seriously, every rescue is struggling now. Food, litter, vet prices have all gone up. TNR was nearly nothing for so long because of the pandemic. Everyone is doing the best they can now. So please don't think of us as asking all the time. We became a legal rescue for a reason. Think of it as a given thing. And this is true for ALL rescues, legal or not.

That being said, I do apologize for going on, I also took Jean-Marc to get his final distemper so he is fully vetted and ready for his new home. He is such a sweet boy and I hope he'll be happy.

Thank you so much for the donations today! They helped! They always do. And no matter the amount we appreciate it.

Thank you for helping me care for them.
