01/01/2025 TNR and Hopper Udpate

So, of course, after I posted yesterday I got a text from a friend needing help to trap a kitten....

It was easy, done in a few minutes. I'm happy to say that little Hopper has a forever home with them! The husband is very allergic but HE'S the one that fell in love with her and he went on allergy meds just to have her! EXCELLENT JOB, HUMANS!

I left my trap there to help get TNR for a few cats that hang around her yard and we have a winner this morning! Don't know what I'm picking up but there will be one less intact kitty for 2025.

Then at home I heard a cat crying. Couldn't figure out where it was coming from then looked in my backyard. A chonky tux boy! Later he was having politics (verbally) with a huge Siamese. They parted ways without incident. But the tux remains hanging in the backyard.

I've seen him and several others over the last year. I stopped feeding outside because of what happened to Timmy. But when you remove a cat from a colony another takes it's place.

Also, 3 black kittens (that have been seen) are hanging around. Completely feral. One is older and got some noms last night.

TNR 2025! My mission has been made clear. Let's make it happen! I can't bring them in but I can try to stop the cycle! Please donate if you can! Every dime helps!

I'm also updating the wish lists to include feral food so that helps, too.

Thank you for anything you can do for the forgotten felines outside. 😻
